Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation; ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Perform a range of imaging procedures as needed, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, when required.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately; label and document patient data in compliance with HIPAA.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment; manage supply inventory and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Accurately document procedures, manage patient records and billing information, and ensure image integrity throughout the workflow.
- Collaborate across modalities (CT, X-ray, and OR as available) to support departmental needs; assist with venipuncture for contrast administration if licensed.

Requirements
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license (R.T.) and ARRT RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) certification; CA Radiologic Tech license required.
- Advanced CT certification required for OR; in California, CT certification is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment; Venipuncture certification required in CA if performing venipuncture.
- EPIC experience.
- Minimum of two years of recent radiologic imaging experience.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Ability to work in an acute care setting and participate in a multi-modality environment (CT, X-ray, OR).
