Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for Interventional Radiology patients across pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases
- Monitor telemetry and hemodynamics, administer medications and contrast per protocol, and ensure patient safety during procedures
- Prepare, assist with, and document IR procedures; maintain sterile technique and radiation safety practices
- Provide post-procedure recovery, monitor for complications, and participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain accurate charting of assessments, interventions, and outcomes; coordinate with the IR team and physicians
- Promote infection control, safety protocols, and vigilant patient advocacy during high-acuity procedures

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS certification required
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam; pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests during onboarding
- Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests administered prior to assignment; passing score 85% on the first attempt
- Onboarding tests to be completed within 48 hours of confirmation
- Orientation is biweekly; no local travel within 50 miles of the facility (must reside outside 50 miles)
- Ability to work in an IR setting and participate in a travel assignment as described
