Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adults undergoing interventional radiology procedures, within established protocols.
- Monitor patients during procedures, including vital signs, sedation safety, and hemodynamic status; respond promptly to changes.
- Conduct pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure recovery, including patient education and discharge planning.
- Assist IR physicians during procedures, maintaining sterile technique and preparing equipment and supplies.
- Monitor telemetry data, interpret basic rhythm information, and respond to dysrhythmias as needed; document findings in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and efficient workflow; document and communicate changes in patient status.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (MA license required)
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- ACLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
- Telemetry competency; pass ECG/telemetry and medication knowledge tests during onboarding (one attempt; passing is required)
- Onboarding tests: 85% passing score; tests administered prior to assignment via Zoom with a provided study guide
- Non-local travel assignment: must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location
- Availability for weekend coverage to support stress testing; weekends and holidays may be required
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts in an IR setting
