Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care setting in Silver City, New Mexico. Start date: 08/04/2026. This is a 11-week temporary assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Local-only assignment with a rotating schedule, including weekend coverage. Work is performed in a long-term care setting that provides skilled nursing care for residents.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, under supervision as needed
- Assess residents, monitor vital signs, perform routine clinical tasks, and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update individualized care plans
- Respond to call lights, manage emergencies, and support residents with activities of daily living
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements, including documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred
- Ability to work nights in a rotating schedule and to perform essential functions of the role in a long-term care setting
