Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures (X-ray) following physician orders and safety guidelines.
- Properly position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images; adjust exposure factors and verify image quality.
- Maintain accurate patient information and documentation; communicate findings or questions to radiologists and clinical staff.
- Adhere to ALARA principles, safety protocols, patient privacy (HIPAA), and infection control standards.
- Support trauma and high-acuity imaging needs; manage patient flow and assist with imaging workflows as needed.
Requirements
- MA license required at time of submission
- ARRT certification (Radiography) verification; BLS required; ACLS as specified
- 2+ years of diagnostic radiology experience, including travel and trauma hospital settings
- Ability to work a 12-hour day shift in a hospital environment
- No locals will be considered; travel experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient safety
