Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
Registered Nurse - Oncology position available for a travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date is 07/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment on a 12-hour night shift (7p-7a). Weekly pay ranges from $1,649 to $1,654 with no guaranteed hours. This is a hospital-based medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities. Note: no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology/medical-surgical patients, including administration of medications and IV therapies, with attention to oncologic symptoms and side effects.
- Monitor patients continuously or intermittently using telemetry; observe vital signs, lab results, and clinical status, and escalate changes promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement an individualized plan of care.
- Document care in the electronic health record, including assessments, interventions, and patient education; contribute to safe discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, medications, and discharge instructions; address questions and provide emotional support.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; respond to call lights and emergencies as needed.
Requirements
- Active, current Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of oncology/medical-surgical nursing experience
- Telemetry experience; ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- ACLS certification preferred
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adhere to assignment policies
- This assignment follows a travel/temporary staffing model and requires eligibility to work in the U.S.
