In this role, you’ll deliver high‑quality nursing care to residents in long‑term care, supporting daily living activities, safety, and medical stability. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments under physician orders, monitoring vital signs, evaluating clinical changes, and promptly escalating concerns to the supervising RN or physician. You’ll perform assessments, support wound and skin care, manage chronic conditions, and implement care plans that reflect each resident’s goals, preferences, and cultural needs. Your day will also involve assisting with mobility, activities of daily living, and fall prevention, while ensuring infection control, environmental safety, and accurate documentation in electronic health records. You’ll contribute to interdisciplinary rounds, participate in care planning, and educate residents and families about medical plans, progress, and health maintenance. As a frontline clinician, you’ll model professionalism, respect, and compassion, fostering trust and empowering residents to engage in their care. The role includes supervising and mentoring care aides, reinforcing best practices, and promoting a collaborative, positive work culture. You’ll be encouraged to pursue professional growth within long‑term care, whether that means refining geriatric assessment skills, expanding wound care proficiency, or pursuing future leadership opportunities. The position emphasizes not only clinical excellence but also the relational, communicative, and ethical dimensions of caregiving that elevate care outcomes and resident satisfaction.

Compensation and benefits are designed to recognize your expertise and commitment. You’ll enjoy a competitive compensation range of 838 to 908 dollars per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week, and a start date of 03/01/2026. In addition to strong pay, you may qualify for a discretionary bonus tied to performance and tenure, as well as housing assistance to ease transition and relocation costs. There are opportunities for contract extensions, giving you continuity in a setting you know and love while you explore additional locations and experiences. The program also provides 24/7 support for traveling nurses, ensuring you have immediate access to guidance, troubleshooting, and resources whenever you need them. This robust support network is designed to keep you focused on patient care and your personal well‑being, no matter where your assignment takes you.
