Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER (Travel) in Olathe, KS, United States. Start date 07/05/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,068–$2,215. Shifts: 3x12 rotating. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to ED patients, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and intervention
- Interpret and respond to changes in patient condition; administer medications and therapies per physician orders
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; assist with procedures and patient transfers
- Document patient care, assessments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Manage inpatient boarders per unit protocol when necessary; maintain patient safety, comfort, and throughput
- Communicate with patients and families; participate in discharge planning and patient education
Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or Multistate license accepted
- BLS, ACLS, PALS; NIHSS and Conscious Sedation Competency
- TNCC preferred
- Experience: minimum 1 year ED experience within the last 12 months; 2 years ED experience preferred
- Ability to work in an ED setting; not floating to other units
- Weekend shifts up to 3 per pay period and holiday coverage as needed per unit requirements
