Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in a Med/Surg observation unit with varying acuity

- Collaborate with physicians, allied staff, and the care team to coordinate patient flow and disposition
- Maintain accurate documentation, uphold patient safety, and follow infection control practices
- May float to other areas within competency as needed; contribute to a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Requirements
- Active RN license (state requirements)
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and four days per week; holidays may be required
- Capacity to function in a fast-paced observation unit and adapt to changing acuity
- Willingness to float to other areas within competency
