- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Maintain patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance; communicate changes in patient condition to the care team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes within a general acute care med/surg setting.
Requirements
- Ability to deliver coordinated nursing care on a general acute care med-surg unit with a mixed medical/surgical patient population (approx. 65% medical or 65% surgical).
- Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and thorough documentation across shifts and disciplines.
- Availability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule and to commence on 10/12/2026.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for a 13-week term and to meet assignment requirements.
