Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist – inpatient acute care assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date 05/04/2026 for 12 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,336 to $2,435 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: rotating day schedule with varied start times; weekend coverage may be needed and a four 10-hour shift option could be considered depending on joint replacement surgery coverage.

Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting; develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based PT interventions including gait training, therapeutic exercise, range of motion, strength, balance, and mobility training; address post-operative orthopedic/joint replacement needs and other complex diagnoses.
- Monitor patient progress, modify goals, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning and progression of care.
- Document treatments and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC preferred); communicate with supervising clinicians and care teams regarding patient status.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, fall prevention, and activity modification; ensure patient safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Active Ohio Physical Therapist license; must not be in licensure process.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred; experience with orthopedic/joint replacement post-operative patients preferred.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred; ability to adapt to inpatient workflows.
- Ability to work in an inpatient acute care setting with rotating shifts and weekend coverage as needed.
