Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiologic imaging exams for patients of all ages.
- Apply radiologic principles, theories, and techniques to produce reliable test results.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures and maintain ALARA practices.
- Manage patient workflow and department operations, providing daily leadership during shifts.
- Verify and document imaging results, maintain proper image quality, and ensure complete and accurate records.
- Collaborate with radiology team and ancillary staff to support efficient patient throughput and quality care.
Requirements
- Active Oregon radiology license (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of general radiology tech experience (required)
- Hospital and operating room experience (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program (required)
- ARRT Radiology certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work nights and participate in a travel assignment
