MRI Technologist (Radiology) – Bangor, Maine – travel assignment in a hospital setting. Begin August 3, 2026 for a 13-week contract. Guaranteed 36 hours per week on Day shift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,583 to $2,675. This travel position is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanner to produce cross-sectional scans and compile them into 3-dimensional images for radiologists.
- Consistently obtain high-quality imaging suitable for interpretation; position patients as needed.
- Demonstrate general understanding of PACS and manage image storage and retrieval.
- Maintain safety for everyone within MRI zones, including screen procedures and equipment checks.
- Document patient care activities in hospital records and communicate findings to the radiology team.
- Interact compassionately with patients and collaborate with co-workers to support the organization’s mission and values.
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or closely related field required.
- Licensure/Certification: ARRT Radiography certification and State of Maine Radiography license required; ARRT Radiography registration also required.
- Certification: ARRT MRI certification preferred.
- Experience: MRI-related imaging experience preferred.
- General: Ability to work in a hospital setting; capable of Day shift responsibilities.
