Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care in South Boston, Virginia. Start date: 09/12/2026. This is an 8-week travel assignment with 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), in a long-term care facility setting. Pay range is $1,178 to $1,205 per week. Travel temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor residents’ condition, perform focused assessments, and document changes
- Provide routine nursing care, wound care, vital signs, and activity of daily living support
- Promote resident safety, comfort, and dignity; assist with mobility and personal care
- Accurately document care and interventions in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust individualized care plans
Requirements
- Active Virginia LPN license
- 12 months of recent LPN experience
- LPN certification as required by the role
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a long-term care setting
- Credentials due by 09/09/2026 or ASAP
- Orientation will be provided during the first shift
