Travel Registered Nurse Peds Job
Registered Nurse, Pediatrics (Peds) – Travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date: 04/27/2026 for a 13-week contract. Shift: 12-hour rotating days, evenings, and nights with on-call/callback, weekends, and holidays. Weekly pay: $2,010 to $2,191 per week. This assignment is in a pediatric cardiac care center that provides state-of-the-art diagnosis, medical/surgical treatment, and long-term follow-up for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with congenital or acquired cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric cardiac patients, including infants through young adults
- Monitor telemetry, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Interpret assessments and telemetry data; recognize and respond to clinical changes promptly
- Collaborate with cardiology, surgery, and multidisciplinary teams to implement and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, accurate documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards
Requirements
- Current RN license in New York
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Pediatric Cardiac Care experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts; on-call/callback; weekends and holidays as required
