Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job
RN - SSSU/PACU in a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in peri-operative care (PACU). Location: Clarkston, WA, United States. Start date: 03/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,304–$2,491. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 10-hour shifts. Setting: long-term care - nursing home with outpatient services coverage.

Responsibilities
- Float to the entire outpatient services area, including day surgery, endoscopy lab, PACU, and pre-operative clinic
- Provide post-anesthesia care and peri-operative nursing, including patient education and perioperative support
- Monitor patients for post anesthesia and post-operative complications; recognize and respond to changes in condition
- Coordinate care with anesthesia, surgical teams, and other departments to ensure patient safety and appropriate procedural needs, including management of conscious sedation for selected procedures
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Strong PACU and pre/post-operative skills
- Ability to float to outpatient services areas (day surgery, endoscopy lab, PACU, pre-operative clinic)
- Experience with peri-operative education and recognizing post-anesthesia/post-operative complications
- Willingness to work a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule
- Ability to adapt to a travel assignment environment in a long-term care setting
