Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, with careful documentation.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate when needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
- Document accurately in the electronic health record and ensure appropriate handoffs during shift changes.
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to work a 3x12 night shift schedule and 36 hours per week
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment starting 07/06/2026
