Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for referrals and patients, coordinating care under the guidance of the interventional radiologist
- Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments; document findings
- Communicate progress and recommendations to referring physicians, patients, and families
- Perform daily rounds and collaborate with medical staff and the radiologist on patient status
- Support interventional radiology cases, including heart caths, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI call, IVUS/IFR, and related procedures
Requirements
- Active Illinois license with verification within 30 days of submission
- ARRT certification (RCIS will not be approved); BLS and ACLS required; COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience; proficiency with heart caths, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI call, IVUS/IFR, and interventional radiology cases
- Ability to work in a travel assignment with 4x10-hour shifts and on-call coverage; 30-minute response time for calls
- Resume showing all facilities listed; two supervisory references within the last year
- Certifications must be active at the time of submission
