Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the LTC setting, including medication administration and routine treatments under supervision.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, assess health changes, document promptly, and escalate concerns to the supervising RN.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and comfort measures to support safety and quality of life.
- Perform wound care, basic procedures, catheter care, and infection control practices per orders and policy.
- Collaborate with licensed nurses, therapists, and other team members to coordinate care and ensure smooth shift handoffs.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in the electronic medical record and protect resident confidentiality.
Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Availability for the 18:00–06:30 night shift (3x12 hours).
- Willingness to commit to a 3-week travel assignment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based LTC environment with strong communication.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and adherence to infection control and safety policies.
