Responsibilities
- Conduct CT imaging and radiographic exams per orders, including CT with contrast and fluoroscopy as trained
- Position patients, apply appropriate protocols, and optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
- Operate CT scanner and fluoroscopy equipment; monitor patients during procedures and assist with contrast administration as trained
- Verify patient identity and exam orders; label images accurately and document results in the medical record
- Maintain imaging equipment and room readiness; perform basic quality checks and report malfunctions
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines (ALARA), infection control, and privacy regulations; collaborate with radiologists and the care team
Requirements
- Current California CRT certificate (radiologic technology) and fluoroscopy certification
- CT imaging experience
- Ability to work a travel assignment in Arcata, CA; 8-hour shifts; schedule may include on-call per local policy
- Proficiency in performing CT and radiographic procedures and in maintaining patient safety and comfort
