Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents in a skilled care setting.
- Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans addressing communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function.
- Conduct dysphagia screenings and swallowing therapy; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Deliver therapy sessions and maintain timely documentation in line with regulatory and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy, physicians) to support care planning and transitions.
- Educate residents and families on therapy goals, compensatory strategies, and home exercise programs.

- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 35 hours per week.
- Ability to work in a skilled care setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Credentialing and licensure requirements will be provided by the employer and discussed during the interview process.
