Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – Ultrasound specialty in Lodi, California. Travel assignment begins 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,876–$2,007 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures across scheduled exam types (breast, OB, anatomy scans, DVT, upper and lower extremity vascular studies, renal artery, carotid, abdomen, pelvis) and generate high-quality images for diagnosis.
- Summarize, document, verify, and present images, measurements, and findings to physicians; ensure accurate labeling and data in patient records.
- Operate ultrasound equipment (including GE Logiq E9/E10 when applicable); maintain and troubleshoot equipment; ensure image integrity and data integrity per HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing condition, obtaining cooperation, positioning patients, and monitoring vital signs; respond to adverse events as needed.
- Mentor and supervise ultrasound staff as appropriate; contribute to teamwork and continuous improvement of ultrasound services.
- Maintain thorough documentation for billing and compliance; adhere to facility protocols and safety standards.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or certificate from an approved ultrasound program.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current certification and registry in one of the following: ARDMS Abdomen (AB) or Obstetrics (OB) or ARDMS registered in Vascular (RVT); or CCI-RVS; or ARRT-VS or ARRT-S; current and active; within one year of hire (CA/HI multi-area certification preferred). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: At least two years of recent ultrasound experience.
- Licensure: Current nursing license per the state of assignment (as required by the client).
- Special requirements: EPIC experience; ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting; strong patient communication skills; able to scan breast, OB, anatomy, DVT, vascular studies, pelvis, abdomen, and related areas as described in job notes.
