Sleep Technologist – Polysomnography in Hermiston, Oregon. Travel assignment starting May 18, 2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $1,996–$2,146 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights. Setting: a critical access hospital sleep laboratory supporting adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnography with setup, data acquisition, staging, scoring, and intervention as needed across adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Apply electrodes according to the International 10-20 system or lab standards with appropriate impedance; operate and calibrate polysomnographic equipment; identify and address artifacts.
- Accurately score and stage sleep studies (polysomnograms, MSLTs, and MWTs) per AASM guidelines; document findings for physician review.
- Accurately fit and dispense CPAP/BiPAP devices, troubleshoot equipment, and provide patient education on device use and safety.
- Administer oxygen and CPAP therapy per physician orders; ensure complete patient documentation, charting, and timely billing information.
- Maintain equipment, calibrate monitors, manage supplies, and participate in continuing education; contribute to orientation and training of new staff as needed.

Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program or respiratory therapy program.
- Certifications: BRPT certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or NBRC credential as Registered Respiratory Therapist with sleep specialty (RRT-SDS); BLS required.
- Experience: Recent polysomnography experience preferred.
- Additional: CRASE training may be required if the travel assignment extends beyond six months.
- Ability to work in a hospital sleep laboratory setting and to perform night-shift duties (3x12). Strong communication and safety awareness are essential.
