Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines; apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Monitor patient status using telemetry, identify changes, respond promptly to evolving conditions, and administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately; communicate with the health care team; participate in handoffs and care planning.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity; advocate for patients and families; contribute to unit safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
- Telemetry-focused activities: interpret ECG/telemetry data, recognize arrhythmias, implement protocols, and escalate to the medical team as needed.
- Support discharge planning and patient education, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize transitions of care.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license (or eligibility) to practice in CA; travel eligibility required.
- Telemetry/acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting.
- Minimum education: BSN or ADN from an accredited program.
- Credentialing readiness for travel assignments; ability to complete required pre-employment checks and onboarding processes.
