Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients, including those with overflow oncology needs
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage drains and IV therapy, and document in the electronic medical record
- Assess patient status, respond to changes, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to update care plans
- Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, timely care and appropriate patient flow
- Maintain accurate charting in EPIC, including admissions, discharges, and transfer documentation; ensure compliance with unit protocols and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia or eligibility for Georgia licensure; Nursys license verification
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Certification card on file (as part of candidate profile); ability to provide references and a skills checklist
- Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days; ability to load demographic information and badge photo into profile
- No planned time off during the assignment (No RTO)
