Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Los Angeles, CA. Travel temporary assignment in a home healthcare - hospice setting. Start date 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide ICU-level nursing care for home hospice patients during night shifts.
- Monitor vitals, administer medications and IV therapies, and adjust care per orders.
- Implement care plans, document in the electronic health record, and coordinate with the medical team.
- Manage symptoms and comfort measures; educate patients and families; ensure safety and infection control.
- Respond to clinical changes and escalate to on-call providers as needed.
Requirements
- Active California RN license.
- ICU experience: minimum 3 years; 3 months recent ICU experience in the specialty.
- Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required.
- Hospital fire safety card required.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Ability to work nights in a home hospice setting; submission documents (DOB, SSN, preferred start date, and any RTO) as part of onboarding.
