Responsibilities
- NOT ACCEPTING SLPA applicants; this opening is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist I/II or Advanced I/II.
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Assess and interpret evaluations and tests; develop and implement medically based treatment plans with measurable, physician-guided goals; adjust plans as needed based on progress.
- Document assessments, treatment progress, and termination in the electronic health record; monitor outcomes and discharge patients when appropriate.
- Deliver specialty services including swallowing evaluations (VFSS/MBS), FEES, cognitive and voice therapy, pediatric speech-language therapy, and pediatric feeding evaluations; participate in specialty clinics such as geriatrics and assistive technology as assigned.
- Collaborate with the Physical Rehabilitation team and other health professionals; educate patients, families, and staff; contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with ASHA standards and licensure requirements; participate in credentialing and ongoing professional development as required.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Valid, current SLP license (Arizona or any U.S. state, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of licensed Speech-Language Pathologist experience
- Ability to provide services in both inpatient and outpatient settings; competent in electronic health record documentation
- Must meet credentialing requirements to serve on the medical staff
