Responsibilities
- Perform portable and stationary X-ray examinations (chest, abdomen, extremities, spine/pelvis, musculoskeletal studies) and other general radiography as required.
- Conduct CT imaging for routine studies (head, chest, abdomen/pelvis) and CTA protocols (head/carotid) with attention to image quality and dose optimization.
- Administer IV contrast and manage contrast-related procedures per NY license requirements; initiate peripheral IVs and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Operate PACS, review images for diagnostic quality, annotate studies, and ensure proper labeling and patient safety throughout the imaging workflow.
- Collaborate with ED and inpatient teams, support adult acute care and outpatient imaging, and participate in weekend coverage and cross-coverage as needed.
- Adhere to Epic-based charting, radiation safety standards, infection control, and patient privacy considerations.

Requirements
- NY State Radiologic Technologist license (active and in hand to submit)
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT CT and/or ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- IV certification / contrast administration required (per NY license notes)
- Minimum 2 years of radiologic experience
- Portable X-ray experience required
- Ability to work in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and Emergency Department settings
- Epic experience or proficiency with Epic charting is expected
- Must be able to float to other areas as needed and work weekends
