Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care, traveling assignment in Roswell, New Mexico. Start date 04/14/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Guaranteed 48 hours per week with a 3x12 night shift. Work in an outpatient and inpatient substance abuse rehab setting, with float responsibilities between the Medical Rehab Unit and the Chemical Dependency unit.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document in the MAR, monitoring for adverse reactions and interactions.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and promptly communicate changes to the supervising clinician.
- Provide related nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living, maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Float between the Medical Rehab Unit and the Chemical Dependency Unit, following unit protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support treatment plans, discharge planning, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and travel assignment standards.
Requirements
- Experience in medical rehabilitation and/or chemical dependency units is preferred.
- Ability to float between the Medical Rehab Unit and the Chemical Dependency Unit.
- Willingness to arrive 48 hours in advance of start date to complete New Mexico fingerprint clearance.
- Active LPN license and eligibility to practice in New Mexico (or as applicable per state regulations).
- Proficiency with standard nursing procedures in a rehab setting and ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
