Licensed Practical Nurse — Long-Term Care travel assignment in Washington, North Carolina. Start date 05/16/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range $1,341 to $1,375. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN, including monitoring and reporting changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, perform routine nursing tasks, and document all care accurately
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility) and support dignity and comfort
- Assist with and participate in care planning, implement prescribed plans, and communicate resident status to the care team
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential charting; ensure infection control and safety standards are followed
- Respond promptly to call bells, assess distress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident well-being
Requirements
- Active North Carolina LPN license or compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1+ year of geriatric LPN experience
- Education: Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- PCC experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and follow established policies and procedures
