Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions; plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with the health care team.
- Administer medications and perform procedures within scope, documenting care accurately and timely.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members; support safe handoffs and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule (3x per week, 36 hours)
- Eligibility to participate in a travel assignment
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills
