Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
Registered Nurse - Oncology in Cumming, Georgia, United States. This travel - temporary assignment starts July 20, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ condition and respond to changes in clinical status promptly
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders, including oncology treatments as trained
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and treatment responses; recognize and report adverse events
- Manage IV therapy and patient access, including central lines when applicable
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate plan of care and discharge planning
- Document care accurately in the medical record and provide patient and family education
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient med-surg or oncology nursing experience; travel/temporary assignment experience is a plus
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Ability to work in a hospital inpatient setting and adapt to a fast-paced oncology/med-surg environment
