Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents as directed, assisting with activities of daily living.
- Aid with hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, and other daily tasks while preserving dignity and privacy.
- Monitor residents, document observations, and report changes to the supervising team; maintain accurate records.
- Support participation in daily routines and therapeutic activities; promote safety and adherence to care plans.
- Collaborate with nursing and behavioral health staff to implement care plans and coordinate with family or caregivers as appropriate.
- Foster a respectful, resident-centered environment and assist with de-escalation and safety as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a community mental health setting
- Willingness to travel for temporary assignment and commit to the assigned duration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfort with documenting observations and assisting with ADLs
- Flexibility to work any shift
