Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele, travel assignment in Trenton, New Jersey. Start date 06/16/2026 for an 8-week engagement. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including monitoring, assessments, and interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital policy
- Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately in the Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans; escalate changes as needed
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, including fall prevention, wound care, and IV management
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education as appropriate
- Maintain infection control practices and adhere to facility policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active NJ or Compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent MST (Med-Surg Tele) experience
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS; NIH certification
- Ability to perform in a float pool environment and to work 12-hour day shifts
- Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- For travel assignments, availability to start on or around 06/16/2026 and commit to 8 weeks
