Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, verify patient identity, and apply proper shielding and radiation protection practices
- Adjust imaging technique and parameters to optimize image quality; assess and document image quality
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment; support image storage, acquisition, and transfer to PACS as required
- Collaborate with radiologists and care team to support accurate diagnoses and timely patient care
Requirements
- Ability to work nights on a travel assignment
- Proficiency in CT imaging and general radiography procedures
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Eligibility to work in the United States
