Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care in Gothenburg, Nebraska. This travel, temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC starts on 05/02/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of an RN
- Assess residents, monitor vital signs, document changes, and report to the supervising clinician
- Administer medications and treatments per plan of care
- Support residents with activities of daily living and promote safety and comfort
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure infection control practices and maintain accurate medication and health records
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Nebraska (in good standing) or eligibility to practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of an approved practical nursing program
- Prior LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living setting preferred
- Ability to work PRN shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
