Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job
Registered Nurse, Long-Term Care, travel assignment in Skowhegan, Maine. Start date 06/29/2026 for 16 weeks. Shifts are 3x12 nights (6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.). Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for residents, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy.
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and escalate concerns promptly to the supervising physician or charge nurse.
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and rehabilitation/therapy staff to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain accurate charting in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing to practice in the United States.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Strong clinical skills in geriatric nursing, medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment.
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and participate in weekend rotations; adaptability to travel assignment requirements.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
