Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients per physician orders
- Monitor patient status, telemetry readings, and administer prescribed medications
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update patient care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EPIC EMR with accuracy
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
- Ensure patient safety, initiate fall precautions, and participate in discharge planning
Requirements
- 2+ years of Med Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- BSN degree required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- End of Week (EOW) coverage and one holiday required
- Return-to-Office (RTO) requests considered; preference for coverage across the full 13 weeks and all shifts
