Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients and assigned groups, following established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist with labor and delivery, and respond to clinical changes and emergencies.
- Develop and implement a care plan, coordinate with the treating team, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families, provide learning opportunities for the care team, and document care and outcomes in the medical record.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately and ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Certifications: BLS or CPR required; ACLS required; NRP required.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent nursing experience; acute care experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting; EPIC and Cerner experience preferred.
- Special conditions: Must be able to work night shifts and meet the requirements of the assignment in a hospital environment.
