MRI Technologist – Radiology (MRI) – Burlington, Vermont, United States. Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans using appropriate protocols and sequences; optimize coil selection and parameter settings to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, assess contraindications, and position patients properly to maximize comfort and image quality.
- Administer contrast agents when indicated and per protocol; monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage emergencies following established procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the radiology team to review images, adjust parameters as needed, and ensure timely communication of findings.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic system and ensure images are archived with proper labeling and quality checks.
- Ensure patient safety throughout the exam, monitor vitals as required, and provide clear explanations to patients to support a positive exam experience.

Requirements
- Active ARRT or ARMRIT license with MR advanced licensure required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience; Epic experience within the past 2 years is required.
- Philips MRI experience highly preferred; strong candidates without Philips will be considered.
- Teaching hospital experience required; prior travel experience preferred.
- Ability to work a Monday–Sunday rotating schedule; no block scheduling; 1–2 weekends per month.
- Reliable transportation required; public transportation is not accessible in this area; personal vehicle or rental recommended; seasonal vehicle readiness (snow tires November–April).
