Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care in Sewickley, PA. This travel, temporary assignment starts June 21, 2026 and runs for multiple weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long‑term care setting under supervision of an RN or physician.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses in accordance with orders and facility policy.
- Perform routine nursing tasks such as vital signs, wound care, catheter care, and other delegated duties.
- Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care to support resident safety and dignity.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and participate in care planning and interdisciplinary communication.
Requirements
- Active LPN license to practice in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to work in a long‑term care setting and adhere to licensed practice standards.
- Prior experience in a long‑term care or skilled nursing environment preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow physician orders and facility policies.
- Willingness to work the specified shift and comply with assignment requirements.
