Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER, travel assignment in the Ticonderoga, NY area. Start date: 04/06/2026. Duration: 4 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,401-$2,503 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: hospital ER. Must start within one week of submission.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department for adult and pediatric patients per unit protocols.
- Perform rapid initial assessment, continuous monitoring, triage, and develop/adjust care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and IV therapy, start and manage IV lines, monitor responses, and document treatments in the electronic medical record.
- Recognize and respond to acute changes in patient condition; participate in emergency codes and resuscitation as directed.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy; educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Document care, ensure accurate nursing assessments, and coordinate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff; ensure EPIC documentation is current.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York; license on file at time of submission.
- Minimum 1 year of in-unit ER experience.
- Certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. TNCC or proof of class with date applied must be in the packet; NIHSS required prior to start.
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
- Additional certifications preferred: CEN, ENPC, CPEN, ABLS.
- Scheduling: requires every other weekend and/or schedule adjustments to meet unit needs; no block scheduling. Must be able to rotate through 3x12 night shifts and work across a 4-week rotation.
