Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services under supervision of an OT for residents in a geriatric, long-term care setting.
- Evaluate and treat activities of daily living, upper-extremity function, dexterity, cognition, and task-oriented skills; document progress and modify plans as needed.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, ADLs, and use of assistive devices; promote safety and independence.
- Prepare treatment materials, maintain equipment, ensure infection control, and document sessions in the resident record.
- Communicate with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team; participate in care planning and progress reviews as appropriate.
- Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and patient confidentiality; respond to resident needs promptly.
Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Montana or eligibility to obtain license.
- Ability to work in a long-term care設定 and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 05/25/2026, with 36 hours per week.
- Prior geriatric rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
- Ability to meet credentialing and facility health and safety requirements.
