Responsibilities
- Deliver and support OT services within the established treatment plan under supervision, including therapeutic activities and functional training.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as appropriate, promoting safety, independence, and quality of life.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to infection control, safety, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with other team members (OT, PT, nursing, social services) to support comprehensive resident care and care planning.
- Participate in care conferences and maintain accurate electronic documentation in the facility’s EMR system.
Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license/certification valid in Montana.
- Ability to work in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting and participate in a multi-disciplinary care team.
- Strong documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records.
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or related setting is preferred.
- Availability to work the listed shift (Days) and commit to the 13-week assignment.
