Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to adult inpatients under supervision within an inpatient rehab program
- Conduct initial assessments, set goals, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and rehabilitation exercises to promote independence and function
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and maintain accurate records according to facility policy and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physical therapists, nursing staff, and other rehab team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control, safety, and documentation protocols
Requirements
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced rehab environment and adapt to a travel assignment
- Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with the stated shift schedule
