Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures including XR and CT imaging per physician orders, ensuring correct patient positioning, exposure, and image quality.
- Operate imaging equipment (Siemens Definition Edge, AGFA XR, Siemens Mobilette portable, AGFA portable) and monitor image quality while adhering to radiation safety and protection standards.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position and immobilize as needed, and monitor for patient comfort and safety during imaging sessions.
- Communicate with radiologists and clinicians; assist with imaging interpretation as appropriate; participate in on-call imaging for strokes and spinal cord compression.
- Document procedures thoroughly in the medical record; maintain equipment safety, cleaning, and routine QA/maintenance per hospital policy.
- Adapt to 7 on/7 off scheduling and on-call duties after daily shifts, ensuring prompt availability for emergent imaging needs.

Requirements
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (Radiology) and CT
- Arizona radiology license and Arizona CT license (AZ Licensure)
- XR/CT imaging experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with on-call responsibilities and 7-on/7-off schedule
- Strong understanding of radiation safety, image quality standards, and patient care
