Weekly pay: $3,749–$4,039 per week (local rate applies: $8 less per week for locals within 50 miles)
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Shift: 8-hour days, five days per week (8x5)
Setting: Hospital-based travel assignment

Responsibilities
- Perform gross dissection and specimen processing under supervision of the pathology staff within Cytology/Histology
- Prepare, embed, section, stain, and mount tissue specimens; assist with slide preparation for review
- Support pathologists during routine sign-out and intraoperative consultations as needed
- Ensure accurate specimen labeling, tracking, and documentation in the EMR (EPIC experience preferred)
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
- Cover assigned shift schedule and work every other major holiday as required
Requirements
- Active ASCP certification required at time of submission
- Master’s degree in pathology, histology, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Cytology/Histology or related specialty
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- RTO (time off requests) must be included at submission; not guaranteed after confirmation
- EMR experience preferred: EPIC
