Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to obstetric and neonatal patients in L&D, postpartum, and related units
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize distress, and escalate concerns promptly
- Assist with labor and delivery, postpartum assessments, newborn care, and routine OB/GYN post-op care
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform necessary procedures per clinical protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support family education and discharge planning
- Document patient status, care plans, and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP (AHA) certifications
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience, specifically in Labor and Delivery
- Must have successfully completed 2 prior travel contracts; no first-time travelers
- Must reside at least 45 miles from the facility; mileage must be listed on submission packet
- Willing to work nights (3x12-hour shifts) and handle postpartum, newborn, and OB/GYN post-op care as part of the assignment
- Must pass on-site drug screen and complete required compliance documentation
