Registered Respiratory Therapist position in Hilo, Hawaii, starting 06/15/2026 for a 15-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,888 to $1,917 per week. Shift is three 12-hour day shifts (0630-1900). No guaranteed hours. This assignment requires active Hawaii licensure or licensure in progress with a Hawaii license secured by start date.

Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management and support, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilation management
- Collaborate with physicians and participate in CPR and all aspects of respiratory care
- Utilize respiratory equipment such as ventilators (e.g., V60, ParaPac, PB 980, PB 840) and transport devices
- Perform and document procedures using computerized charting and Pyxis medication management systems
- Deliver care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations as assigned
- Coordinate with health care team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure appropriate respiratory therapy interventions
Requirements
- Hawaii State Respiratory Therapist license (active by start date). If not currently possessed, license application must be submitted with offer acceptance and Hawaii license must be issued by start date
- Registration: RRT; BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
- Flu vaccination proof or facility-approved exception (medical or religious) required prior to contract start date
- Must arrive the Thursday before start date to complete employee health requirements
- Hawaii license preferred, but acceptable if application is already submitted for Hawaii licensure
