MRI Technologist – Travel in Radiology. Location: York, Maine, United States. Start date: 06/08/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (Sun, Wed, Sat) from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. This travel assignment is in a hospital setting. Weekly pay is $1,972 to $2,060.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures using established protocols and safety guidelines per department and ACR standards
- Screen patients for contraindications, follow safety requirements around the MRI environment, and request removal of hazardous metal objects
- Explain MRI procedures to patients, address concerns with tact and professionalism, and ensure patient comfort and confidentiality
- Monitor patients visually and verbally during imaging, maintaining safety and safety-related communication with the team
- Operate MRI equipment and related devices, assist with protocol selection and updates, and help maintain equipment status and cleanliness
Requirements
- ARRT registered (MRI) with current standing
- BCLS certification obtained within 4 months of hire
- Education: Associate degree or Certificate from a two-year radiologic technology program
- Experience: MRI technologist experience preferred
- Influenza vaccination required by Maine state regulations unless a medical exemption is provided and approved
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to safety and patient-care standards
